CAREGIVER

Job Overview:
BeeHive Homes of Crownridge is a family owned and operated small Type B Assisted Living Facility (ALF) in NW San Antonio just north of Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the La Cantera Golf Course. We strive for excellence and have an unmatched reputation for providing quality care to our residents and maintaining an exceptional team of caregivers. We are currently recruiting for the position of CAREGIVER to work primarily our overnight shift (10pm-6am). The successful candidate must be dependable, up-beat, team oriented, patient, kind, and competent in assisting elderly people with activities of daily living. Our caregiver-to-resident ratios are 1:8 during first and second shifts and 1:16 overnight.
 
Duties:

• perform and chart ADLs
• manage medications and chart MARs
• serve meals
• perform light housekeeping and laundry services
• record shift notes and incident reports

• At least one year of experience caregiving in a licensed ALF during the past 18 months
• Effective communication and human relations skills
• Proficiency using computer devices and office programs in the work environment
• Pass a comprehensive background check
• Completion of a high school diploma or GED

• Flexible schedule
• Referral program

• Three 8-hour shifts daily
• Day shift (6am-2pm), Afternoon/Evening shift (2pm-10pm), Overnight shift (10pm-6am)

• Caregiving: 1 year in a licensed ALF (Required)
