Our team of experienced attorneys, led by Heather Tessmer, focuses on providing tough but fair, collaborative, and efficient service to Bexar and surrounding counties. Tessmer Law Firm specializes in various practice areas such as divorce, child custody, military divorce, collaborative divorce, estate planning, probate, guardianship, and general civil litigation.
Our law firm has a full-time Entry Level Legal Assistant position available now and we are looking for the right professional to join our team. This person will be driven to succeed, show loyalty and compassion, as well as strive to always do the right thing.

What you will be doing…
  • The Legal Assistant will assist the Legal Team with document and deadline control, primarily in the discovery process. This includes document collection, organization, electronic filing, scanning, copying, redacting, labeling, and assembly of discovery responses.
  • Maintain Client files in organized manner to ensure readily available and up-to-date information for attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Provide assistance in Client communication to build positive relationships.
  • Provide assistance in case management.
  • Communicate closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure tasks are managed efficiently.
  • Provide assistance in calendar and deadline management.
